Next Generation Leaders

The Industry is changing rapidly and the next generation leaders of our industry are here and need support and preparation to fulfill this important responsibility. If you have sons and/or daughters emerging as the next to take over your business's future ... this is the group for them !

The group's direction is based on four key pillars for the future leadership: financial knowledge and analysis, Production Improvements, Ethical Leadership Skills, and Technology Changes and Implementation. Embracing these four elements are critical for future of not only your business, but the industry.

Each group commonly meets for 1 1/2 days - 2 days (normally Friday and Saturdays), 3 to 4 times per year based on the group's decision and includes businesses with next generation managers/owners or soon to accept management duties from different market areas. The Groups are independent, and also not Vendor sponsored.

The group size normally averages between ten to twelve businesses. The location of each meetings are determined by the group and may be centralized. Meetings are generally limited to just the next generation members, but typically once a year an event is planned for both the member and their father/mother in attendance.

AEII acts as the facilitator and makes all arrangements for meeting space, refreshments, meals, and agenda items. Each group is managed with the highest quality of communication and services in the industry. Each event will provide the members with high level financial analysis, discussion topics, improvement goals and ideas, and special presentation topics.

The general outline for each event includes:
     Current Industry Changes and Preparation for These Changes
     Benchmarking, Financial Analysis, and Training
     Forum Discussion and Future Accountability Goals
     Event's Special Topic Sessions

At times when the location has additional interest a third day may be added for a special tour or event. This is determined by the group and is normally optional.
